Testimonials

“I need to give an overdue shout out to @fitand_fueled. I took the top photo yesterday and the first photo on December 4th. I’m honestly speechless. I hadn’t even realized how much progress I made in two months. While I am celebrating the physical changes today, I am also celebrating the freedom I feel when it comes to the food I am eating, social outings, and how I feel in clothing. I have been working incredibly hard to overcome binge eating, negative thinking, destructive self-esteem, low motivation, etc. I’ve prided myself on being a positive influence in the ED recovery/body image world and I was in complete denial regarding how out of control my ED had gotten over the past 2 years. Ellen, thank you for helping me get back on track to the path of wellness again. Not pictured:
  • decreasing/eliminating my IBS symptoms
  • improving my blood pressure, resting heart rate, cholesterol, and thyroid function
  • getting off of one of my anti-depressants
  • letting go of my unhealthy relationship with cardio
  • kicking absolute booty at the gym and making gains every week
  • having a coach who hypes me up day in and day out”

Working with Ellen over the past 3 months has been one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself and my health. She took the time to give me the attention I needed and was a resource throughout the entire program. I would recommend this to anyone asking questions on why they are feeling a certain way and ready to make a positive and science-backed change in their nutrition and fitness lifestyle.”

“Increase calories, decrease cardio….. ummm what? To lose fat?! No thanks — no way that’s going to work. These are thoughts I had when I started working with Ellen. Before working with Ellen, I was as restrictive as possible, ate minimal calories, and worked out way more than I needed with lots of cardio. Now, I’ve increased my calories and decreased my cardio and I have seen many changes.

Mentally: I do not stress when enjoying meals with family or for holidays. I’ve learned that progress is not lost in one meal. I do not stress about getting my workouts in, or about getting enough cardio. I workout now for my mental health and my sanity, not for the way I look or to lose weight.

Physically: I have seen the weight I can lift in the gym go up while my stomach size goes down and my muscles are more prominent.

I’m eating more and working out less and I’m finally comfortable in my own skin. If you want to do this, just know it takes effort, time (7 months and still going), and money. Be fully committed and start the journey with this amazing, strong woman with so much knowledge and support for every step of the way!
